The best time to take this class is between 28-36 weeks, however anyone 20+ weeks is accepted.
The focus of this class is not for turning a breech baby. Please refer here for the Spinning Babies® approach to flipping a breech. Some of the concepts to the approach are also concepts taught in this class, as Spinning Babies® seeks to achieve body balancing in any pregnancy.
Anything comfortable! We will be stretching, moving, even going upside down – so keep that in mind when choosing attire. This applies to your partner too!
Please bring 2-3 of your own pillows and a yoga mat or towel. It is optional to bring a birthing ball, but we recommend at least having one at home.
When purchasing a birthing ball, pay attention to sizing! Oftentimes the balls purchased are actually smaller than what we recommend - the perfect size means when sitting on it, your knees are bent at a 90° angle or greater, and your hips are higher than your knees.
